Lovely Links: Carnival

My husband is the Associate Youth Minister at our church. He's in charge of all those crazy high schoolers and he is great at it. I also enjoy working with those lovable drama queens, however, my scene is more of those hyper-active yet painfully shy middle schoolers. I run the EDGE program and it's a lot of fun. It's hard work! But tons of fun too.

This year for our big kick off event, I decided to plan something with a carnival theme. Growing up in Texas our parish had this amazing church carnival every year. It was seriously awesome. So it makes me sad that more churches don't do that here in Tucson! I'm bringing a bit of the carnival to my middle schoolers.

Picking out/planning the decor has been fun. There are still a few DIY projects to tackle but those will come later. Here are my five Lovely Links for this Monday. These items will be filling the church hall come September!

I'll make sure to take pictures of the kick off so you can see the final project!
