My artistic abilities are pretty limited. As a kid, coloring in the lines was tough. When I grew older I painted a fish "mural" on my closet doors. I thought it was amazing....It wasn't. Then in high school I told people that I was good at "abstract art". One kid replied with "that's what people say when they're not good at art". Excuse me?! How rude!
But seriously. He was right haha. I'm not that good. However, I love being crafty and making fun projects, so I guess my creativity shines that way. I was digging around in my craft drawer and found a small unused canvas. What could I do it? I think I had originally bought it for a photo transfer experiment that just never happened. Eh. Anyway, I decided to do a little painting. It didn't turn out so bad! I was inspired by several projects over at A Beautiful Mess for this one. Hopefully I made Elise proud!
What you'll need:
-Blank canvas (any size), paint brushes, and acrylic paint.
Super cheap and super easy project for the artistically challenged. Just imagine all the possibilities! All the different shapes and colors you could use!
Ah. It's like I never left the kindergarden art station.
Give this DIY a try. I'd love to see what you come up with!
