Happy December!! It is currently a sunny 66 degrees outside here in Tucson, however, you can still feel the holidays in the air. Last night my brain was running about a billion miles per hour thinking about everything I need to get done between now and Christmas. So I did one of my most favorite things... I made a list! It felt so good! Then I crossed off "make a list" from my list! It was magical... Haha.
Here is a little peek at what I need to-do. My thought process here is that maybe if I "blog it" I'll actually have to do it!
-Holiday bars (a.k.a. magic cookie bars).
-Sugar cookies (plus homemade frosting).
-No-bake peanut butter chocolate cookies.
-Chocolate fudge (yessss please!!!).
-Take pictures (check!)
December 23rd gift exchange with friends:
-Buy more ornaments (we have a big tree this year! Yay!).
-Find a star for the top!
-Find a way to keep Peter from pulling the tree down (any ideas?).
-Take out box of Christmas decorations and go nuts!
-Decorate the tree.
-Cards for my students.
-And those last few Christmas presents!
Whew! Thankfully I have all of Advent to prepare. In our house we don't put up our tree (or listen to Christmas music) until the "pink candle" which is two weeks before Christmas. So most of this stuff won't happen until then but in the meantime I can do all the prep for it.
The Amanda Marie Blog has a new December calendar out. You can download different sizes here. These calendars are the best. When I set it as my lock screen all I have to do is tap my phone to take a look. I'm much more less likely to lose my mind if I have a calendar at my finger tips haha.
And as if December couldn't get anymore awesome... Dean Street Society has another photo challenge up!
Finally... I kicked off December in short sleeves and a pencil skirt. Oh Arizona...
Skirt//Inspired by Tess, Shirt//Target, Rose Earrings// Claire's (ages ago I swear haha) similar here, Shoes//Steve Madden (about 2 years ago) similar here. Make sure you check Fine Linen and Purple for more Sunday outfits. You can also search the hashtag on social media for even more!
