Earlier in the week I posted a link to an amazing blog post from the Daybook. Basically it talked about how often times the images you see on blogs are not an accurate depiction of real life. Anna from IHOD, also wrote a similar post over the summer. She talked about how no one ever posts pictures about the dirty laundry or the messy living room.
It's easy to start comparing your life to blog life and that's not fair. I HAVE a blog and I still compare my life to other blogs.... That's just not ok. While there is nothing wrong with pretty pictures, it's important to remember that 99% of the time my house is a mess. I like to think that a messy house is a sign of a joyful life. The brief times that the whole house is clean just shows that even in the chaos, sanity still exists.
Here is a little peek inside. None of these photos have been edited in any way. I mean, I really wanted to put a hipster filter over my dirty dishes....................
Peter thought the entertainment center was a good place for my shoes. Then obviously shoes are a good place for a bottle. At the end of each day I clean it all up and in the morning it begins again.... A frustrating yet beautiful cycle called life.
