Mar Baby Musings: Farmers Market

Another good thing about starting this blog is that it's brought my sister and I much closer. Marisa actually had the idea to start a blog long before I did. In fact, she was much more immersed in the blog world before I was. Several years back she had the idea for a fashion blog that focused on modesty. I told her it was a great idea. However, life happens and the idea was shelved because she became a very busy high schooler.

Then last year I started Barista Mommy! Starting a blog isn't easy and I had a lot of unchartered water to navigate but I managed it. It was all for the best because then I could help Marisa start her dream blog...A Beautiful Mystery.

Now Marisa and I combine our love for blogging and put together our "Mar Baby Musings". She covers the fashion and I cover the lifestyle aspect. I think we make a pretty good team. Alas, she will be leaving me in the fall for college and I have no idea how I'll manage without her....So like I've said before, we are making the MOST of this summer.

Our most recent adventure was at a farmers market at St. Philips plaza. Marisa and I loaded up the boys in the double stroller and really enjoyed ourselves. There was coffee, tea, veggies, and lots of other good stuff. We ran into our good friend Lauren who was selling delicious gluten free baked goods. Now, I have nothing against gluten. I actually love gluten very very much haha. But they had this AMAZING rosemary and sea salt bread for sale. I totally bought two loaves. In fact, it's going to be apart of recipe post soon!

All in all it was a lovely morning. For the outfit details just go over to A Beautiful Mystery and say hi!

Here are some of my favorite images from our little adventure.
