I'm not sure why I think that things will slow down in the summer. We are just as busy as usual. Last week I accidentally took a break from blogging. It wasn't intentional but it was very much needed.
We had a nice Father's Day yesterday! The boys were pretty well behaved at Mass which was a Father's Day miracle in itself. The rest of the day was spent with family and watching the Spurs win it all.
Yesterday I was thinking back to Father's Day one year ago. I was 34 weeks along with James and I had a nasty stomach flu. That flu landed me in the hospital desperately trying to stop labor. Thankfully James held on for another few weeks but it was still one of the scariest days of my life. While I was thinking about all this I remembered how Andrew took care of me when I was so sick. He is such a wonderful father and husband. I try and tell him that as often as I can, but it's nice to have a day that reminds this scatter brained momma to do so.
Even on his special day he took time to snap my What I Wore Sunday pictures.
After I was done with my pictures Andrew said "Hey! Shouldn't it be what I wore Sunday? It is my day after all." So then I took pictures of him and he made fun of me. That sums up our marriage pretty well haha. I apologize for the blurriness. I just couldn't stop laughing.
I hope you all had a wonderful day with family! Cheers to a new and amazing week!
