Ballin Bachelorette

Last week I shared the bridal shower of my good friend Krista. Well this past weekend we saw her tie the knot with the love of her life. I'll have more on the wedding later in the week but before that, I wanted to share a little about her bachelorette party.

Immediately after the shower we headed over to a neat place called The Yard. Now, I love Tucson. I really do. But sometimes I get super jealous of all the cool places in Phoenix. The Yard is one of those place (though there are rumors one is coming to Tucson.) I had never been to The Yard so I had no idea what I was walking into. I wasn't disappointed. This place was perfect for our bride. Krista has always been a bit of a tom-boy so The Yard was quite ideal. Within The Yard is this amazing restaurant called Culinary Dropout. While eating delicious food and sipping on a fun cocktail, you can play games like corn hole, ping pong, or go for a bike ride around the area.

Luckily I had my camera with me so that I could capture any shenanigans through out the night. In between stuffing my face and chatting with the bride I snapped a few pictures of The Yard. It was super packed so I'm SURE I looked like a creeper.

It was such a fun evening. I think The Yard is really onto something. Sadly I believe we've lost the art of neighborhood parties and backyard get togethers. The Yard reminds people that you don't need fancy things to have a good time. Just by simply being outside with good company is enough. Amazing food and drink doesn't hurt either haha. So if you're in Phoenix I highly recommend checking this place out! And if you live in Phoenix? Just know I'm super jealous haha.
