Weekend Notes

Weekend Notes

Happy Monday Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Ours was busy but in the best kind of way. We had lots of good food, family time and adventure. On Friday evening we participated in a photo walk of downtown Tucson (post on that soon!). It was so much fun! Downtown Tucson has really cleaned up it's act. There are so many new restaurants and shops opening up, it's like a whole new city. I loved discovering little places and finding details I had never noticed before. Tucson is a really beautiful and vibrant city and people forget that. Sure, our roads are the worst and no one knows how to drive in the rain but it is still a special little city.

On Saturday I woke up early to get some grading done and then we made the trip to Casa Grande to meet up with some of our Phoenix family. Peter decided to wear his winter hat the entire trip. It was adorable. We enjoyed a nice lunch with family and caught up on each other's lives. It was nice to be together again. The last time some of us had seen each other was for my Grandma Rosemary's funeral. Her absence is still so greatly felt but at the same time we feel her watching out for us everyday.

On Sunday we went mass and then enjoyed a birthday brunch for my sister Marisa who is home from college for spring break. It was really nice to have her home over her birthday. Then in the afternoon Andrew went to do his youth ministry thing and the kids and I went over to my parents house for birthday cake and presents.

Then Sunday evening I sat down and started planning out the next week or so. Here's a little look at what I do....

Review last week and see what gets moved over to this week. Or in this picture two weeks ago.

Plan the current week.

Review the month...

Then write out the big stuff on a weekly calendar that goes on the refrigerator. Linking up with Jamie and her planner series!

Now to face the rest of the week! Refreshed and organized. Have a great rest of your day friends!
